If any of this is totally new, fear not! Support is available:

  • Technology Integrators, Library Media Specialists and teacher trainers will be available between each session offered to provide opportunities for coaching, feedback and questions. Please email to arrange times and places. (Teachers should notify their administrator of any new technology being implemented, particularly during an introductory period. Documentation of the process will be useful during TEPL evaluations.)
  • Upperclassmen will be available certain blocks (times will be determined and posted on the Teacher Portal) for support in Web 2.0, use of flip cam, PhotoShop, and all Office software. Don't worry- these students are earning community service hours. They want you to succeed! And, they'd rather tutor you than a freshman!
  • Videostreaming of key training sections will be posted on Teachers Corner (located on the school's web site)
  • Permanent substitutes will be available for at least one block of peer coaching per cycle. Please go to the Google Docs calendar and arrange the block with your teaching partners. In addition, House masters have agreed to cover one class for one block per day between sessions to allow for coaching to occur.
