Often times, a district will bring in outside trainers for workshops yet fail to realize they have experts in their own building. At Spensiville High, staff members are encouraged to share this knowledge and expertise with their peers. As such, the instruction provided for all three flights of Technology Professional Development are offered by the Technology Integrators, Library Media Specialists, and staff members from a variety of disciplines.
Housemaster Jory Lockwood, though leaving the hallowed lab of "Dempsey-Wood" will oversee implementation of all course offerings. As a technology expert, Jory is a goldmine of tech info and support!
Compensation is provided by issuing CEU credit. Follow-up coaching is provided based on the availability of the instructor and arranged with the participant. If monies are available, release time will be given for coaching and mentoring opportunities.
